April's A to Z Challenge

Throughout the month of April, I'll be participating in the blogger's A to Z Challenge.  Over 1500 blogs are participating in the challenge this year.  Here at Penultimate Issues, I will be reviewing #1s throughout the month (a new letter everyday except for Sunday, excluding the 1st).  Here is the criteria for the comics I chose for the challenge:

• It had to be issue #1 of the series or mini-series
• I could only select comics from my local comic shop's dollar bin
• Each issue had to be from a series or mini-series I had never read before

I tried to get a good sample from the familiar to the forgotten.  There will be some great stuff and, of course, some issues I regret reading.  Hope you enjoy and feel free to chime in on what you think!
